I am under 16. Will I still be able to go on site for work experience?
I haven't had any work experience, but am extremely keen to follow a career in construction. Can I still be considered for scholarship?
I am already studying at University. Can I still apply for sponsorship for my final year?
Do I have to supply my own safety gear for work experience?
What will my work experience consist of?

Yes! The only restriction is that you must be supervised at all times and cannot carry out manual labour. We would of course supervise ALL placements at all times and manual labour is not a part of the experience! We also have full insurance and are happy to be inspected for Health and Safety purposes, as your school requires.

London was at risk of being flooded by the Thames, until the construction of the Thames Barrier at the Woolwich Reach section of the river.

Costain, the lead contractor achieved this by sinking 9,000 tonne cill units onto the bed of the Thames between the massive piers that have become a London landmark.
