An extract from KEGS Newsletter,
"The giant construction company Costain has made a firm partnership with nine schools nationally - KEGS is one - to offer work experience, work shadowing, mentoring, work-based projects, gap years, day release degrees, and sponsored full time degrees to interested students. There is a real will and commitment to this project on both sides, and I am sure will see more developments in the partnership very rapidly!".
K.E.G.S. Headteacher, Mike Walker, said "We are committed to raising the status of engineering as a career - we feel that this project is the way forward."

Victoria Havercroft delivered a dynamic presentation on Costain, the Construction Industry and what is on offer. As a result we have had 5 applications for placements, sponsorship and visits including an application for a placement from Stephen Ham! |
